super awesome outdoor plaza with lots of little restaurants and shops. cool vibe where there are outdoor seating and music is always playing. good place to chat with friends or even do some reading alone.
Beautiful place with plenty of shopping and dining to choose from gut everything is on the expensive side. If you want to spend money, then this is the place to be. I've tried almost every place here, and they're okay. More than anything, the ambiance is great, and they had live music outside today.
Nice, trendy, expensive cafes and stores in Culver City, under the Metro train platform. Fun to walk around, especially with kids who want to see the train go by. Has a little park that you can walk around or enjoy a picnic in.
This is a pretty nice area with outdoor shopping/food, but the recent increase in parking rates is a terrible move, and I really don't think I'll be coming back very much anymore. Used to come weekly to eat, shop, hang out, and eat more, but the new rates are a little insane after 1 hour.
Look, I'm fine with paying for parking as that is part of life in LA, but when your new rates are more expensive than The Grove, Westfield Century City, Culver Steps, Santa Monica 3rd St. Promenade, Beverly Hills and pretty much everywhere else I can think of - you're telling me you don't want my business anymore. Here are the new parking rates: $2 for 1 hour, $5 for 2 hours, $10 for 3 hours, $20 for 4 hours, $30 for 5 hours, $40 maximum.
Everything is beautiful, love the shops here. Tell me WHY I spend $400 shopping in different stores and eat at Roberta’s but none of them can validate my parking? Waitress told me Sweetgreen does??? Make it make sense I just spent $80 on a meal but can’t validate? Work it out Platform.
Maum market at Platform was well attended and vendors had many unique items to offer. Guests very friendly and in holiday shopping mode. Valet was busy but couteous.Parking options too.
The platform is beautiful and I love the stores in the area. There is a parking garage near the platform, but it's not free. I like that it's across the street from the Expo line (light rail) so it's accessible by public transit. My only issue is that it's an area fill with over priced good. $7 ice cream, $1,250 chairs, and $8 juices and coffee. Clearly they are marketing towards a very specific audience.
Such a pretty little area! I accidentally stumbled across this trying to find a coffee shop nearby and couldn't get over how beautiful one random block could be.
There's a few more mainstream shops like Boba Guys and Blue Bottle, accompanied by some pop up shops and other small boutique stores that seem to change out on occasion.
Highly recommend coming out here on less busy days just to kick back and relax for a few hours, even if you don't end up buying anything. Parking in the garage across the street is also incredibly cheap.
Going to make this a regular stop for me!
